Each cottage has been beautifully decorated and arranged to offer you a great, unforgettable vacation experience in sunny Pass-A-Grille. Managed by innkeeper, Sheila McChesney and her staff, your accommodation cottage comes equipped with a full kitchen, soft comfy linens in each room, fluffy towels, high quality soaps, shampoos and lotions, daily coffee service, as well as weekly cleaning.

Caladesi_State_ParkCaladesi Island Beach was once part of Honeymoon Island to the north until a hurricane in 1921 split the island in two. Accessible only by private boat or public ferry; there is a ferry service departing from Honeymoon Island. Blessed with the constant flushing action of hurricane pass, the water is generally translucent and the sugar-sand beaches stretch out for miles. The Island has 3 miles of absolutely beautiful Gulf beaches with shallow, clear, calm waters. Actually, if you don't mind walking a good distance you can actually walk to Caladesi Island from Clearwater Beach. From Pier 60 it's a little more than an hour's walk. Caladesi Connection ferry service. Cost for the ferry is $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for children ages four to twelve. Caladesi Island was named one of the best beaches in the nation in 2006, 2007 and was as one of the top ten beaches in the USA in 2008.

At Caladesi Island, recreational opportunities abound! A mangrove-covered kayak trail winds from the marina to the St. Joseph Sound and back. Kayaks are available for rental through the Cafe Caladesi. The nature trail is a great place to find Osprey in old pine snags or cross paths with a gopher tortoise. Remember to bring water and sunscreen!

One of the few completely natural islands along Florida’s Gulf Coast, Caladesi´s white sand shores have been rated as the nation’s #1 best beach. Beach lovers can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and beachcombing. Saltwater anglers can fish from their boats or throw a line out into the surf. Nature enthusiasts watch wildlife while hiking the three mile nature trail through the island’s interior or paddling a three mile kayak trail through the mangroves and bay. Picnic tables and shelters are located near the beach; picnic pavilions can be reserved for a fee. The park has a marina with electric and water hookups for boaters. The park also has a snack bar and gift shop.

Florida state parks are open from 8 a.m. until sundown 365 days a year.

Admission Fee:
$6.00 per boat. Limit 8 people per vessel.
$2.00 per kayaker.

Ferry fees are: (The ferry travels to Caladesi Island for a four-hour stay)
$10.00 per adult.
$6.00 for children ages 4 - 12. (Children under 4 years old are free)
Sorry, no pets are allowed on the ferry.

Picnic Pavilion Rental Fees:
$30.00 per day, plus tax. Call ahead at least two weeks for Pavilion reservations.

Boat Camping Fees:
$24.00 per night, plus tax, reservable sites.
$1.00 per foot, plus tax, nonreservable sites.
